Our primary objective is to harness the maximum therapeutic potential of existing drug molecules aided by better delivery approaches, that not only leads to better therapies but also possible new indications.
We are focusing on developing products based on alternative/traditional medicines. A lot of so called nutraceuticals and antioxidants are undergoing clinical trials these days, however, the success is limited due to their poor physicochemical/biopharmaceutical properties.
Lastly, we believe in the future belonging to combination therapies involving a drug and phytochemicals/herbal medicines.
To achieve the above, we investigate a range of drug delivery systems that include nanoparticles, microparticles, hydrogels etc.
